Are you a Firmware Engineer, with experience writing embedded C code on microcontrollers, who is looking for a new and exciting role where you can become an expert in the design and development of tools that assist mining, all whilst gaining on-the-job, and external training, with a clear path to progression?

This company manufactures and sells highly specialized pieces of equipment to multi-billion-pound industries across the globe. Software plays a major role in controlling the machinery, R+D, and alerting operators to potentially life-threatening dangers, so with continued expansion, they have the need for a Firmware Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

In this role you will work as part of an R&D firmware team and will be responsible for designing, developing and testing firmware for downhole and surface tools. Which in turn will lead to the full firmware development life cycle.

The ideal candidate will hold a strong embedded background with experience in writing embedded C code on microcontrollers, within a commercial setting.

The Role:
*Design, develop and test firmware downhole solutions
*Take responsibility for the entire firmware development life cycle
*Help direct the business to translate commercial needs
*£35,000 – £65,000 + Training + Progression + Holiday + Pension + Private Healthcare

The Person:
*Experience with embedded C
*Proven track record of successful implementation of design and testing
*Degree educated or relevant commercial experience
*Commutable to Aberdeen
