Role: 1st Line Field Engineer

Location- Schools across Lancashire

Are you an experienced 1st/2nd line IT Field Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment? My client is seeking a passionate and skilled technician to join their team as a Field Engineer, providing in-house support to various schools across Lancashire, including Chorley, Preston, and Horwich.

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hardware and software issues, as well as providing network support and troubleshooting. You will also need to have a friendly and outgoing approach, as you will be interacting with children on a daily basis.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

Strong knowledge of Office365/ Exchange/ SharePoint
A minimum of 5 GCSEs
Experience in network troubleshooting and support
Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
The ability to diagnose and resolve problems independently
