Full-Stack IoT Developer (IoT Training Provided)
Location: Hybrid/Wednesbury – 3 Day Office/2 Day WFH
Salary: Up to £50,000
Term: Permanent – Full-Time

As a specialist manufacturer of locking systems, Our Client supplies a wide variety of locks for industrial applications. Our product range is extensive and includes simple mechanical locks, the latest electronic devices, and many bespoke solutions. Our systems can be found on a vast variety of applications, and it is highly likely that you have used them without actually knowing it.

We are now seeking to hire a Full Stack Developer to help create our next phase of advanced, connected, electronic locks. This will be a challenging and diverse role with responsibility for high performance server-side logic design, database implementation and integration of connected products. Reporting to the Head of Electronic Engineering, the position will be based with the engineering team at our factory in Wednesbury in the West Midlands.

Principal Responsibilities of Full-Stack Developer

* Ground-up design and implementation of IOT systems
* Management of security and data protection
* Writing well documented, re-usable code and libraries
* Integration of user-facing elements
* Optimisation for performance and robustness

Essential Skills of Full-Stack Developer

The successful candidate will have a passion for software design demonstrated by a portfolio of projects in and outside work which they can discuss at interview.

A high level of relevant education and qualifications is expected.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' experience in a similar role, coupled with demonstrable knowledge and experience of the following:

* Back-end programming languages such as node.js, C#, .net core,
* Experience with AWS / Azure setup and implementation
* AWS Greengrass experience for IoT implementation. (Training Provided)
* Experience of building APi's using .net core and node.js
* SQL Database setup and implementation using SQL Server
* Front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, Javascript ,React.js
* Software testing including automated platforms and unit tests
* Code version control using Git or similar
* Ability to work effectively as part of team to launch a new product

Beneficial Skills of Full-Stack Developer

Experience with Linux Development and Mobile development would also be advantageous
