Job Description
Global Trade Export & Import Specialist
6 month initial contract
Up to £300 pd inside IR35
Remote – UK based
GT Export & Import Specialist who will be responsible for providing guidance to the business on export and import activities and assist in the management of all aspects of UK Export/Import and US regulatory requirements as they relate to UK day-to-day shipping activities.
Main Duties:
Generating accurately all essential shipping and customs documentation to ensure compliance with United Kingdom Export/ Import regulations.
To ensure compliance, as required, with United States and other countries Export/ Import regulations.
To ensure all export/import transactions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Act as point of contact for the business on all export/import shipping transactions.
Essential
High level of speed and accuracy with excellent attention to detail
Working knowledge of SAP or similar Business Operating Toolset
Experienced in working with policies and procedures in a compliance driven environment.
Good computer skills and competent with Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Well organised and multitasking
