Role: Voice Recording Engineer

Location: Chester – 3 days onsite / 2 remote

Duration: 12 Months

Rate: £600pwd

We have a brand-new and exciting position with one of our Global Banking and Financial Services companies for a VOICE RECORDING ENGINEER.

The ideal candidate will be part of the global regulated voice recording team that will not only deliver technical solutions that will fit the regulatory landscape within EMEA, but also be able to interact with Senior Business leaders, COO's, Compliance and Legal to manage voice recording queries. These include but not limited to;

Investigating voice recording issues and being able articulate findings clearly and concisely

Handling queries from External Auditors and Regulators

Identifying risks within the environment and work to ensure closure

Influencing and assisting with defining strategy across the voice recording/assurance towers

Job Responsibilities:

Have excellent knowledge of Voice Recording Technologies including fixed line and mobile
Have a broad knowledge of the Regulatory landscape within EMEA and the associated controls put in place to manage the environment.
Has experience of Vendor Service Management to ensure operational excellence
Demonstrates Analytical Ability-must be able to assist in resolution of complex issues during high pressure situations.
Able to communicate with a wide range of staff, from technology implementation through to senior management levels.
Leverages Technology – must utilize multiple bank tools to communicate and manage projects and processes.
Works effectively as part of a global team across multiple time zones
Works effectively with others towards achieving objectives
Willingness to work outside of normal working hours where necessary
Communicates in a clear and concise manner both written and oral (face to face and teleconferencing)
Report/documentation writing and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and accepts constructive criticismExperience and Skills Required:

Deep technical understanding and experience of voice recording technologies and architecture for both fixed line and mobile platforms.
Deep technical understanding of voice recording assurance processes, controls, and technologies.
The ability to identify and improve current assurance processes, controls, and technologies.
Demonstrates Analytical Ability-must be able to assist in resolution of complex issues during high pressure situations.
