This role would be ideally suited to a recent graduate or apprentice in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science or Information Technology.

My client is leading the way in EV Motor power and efficiency, using Axial Flux Technology, their motor is more powerful, lighter, and smaller than the current market leaders.
 
As a result, they are supplying a growing number of world-leading OEMs in the automotive industry with innovative powertrain solutions based on their axial-flux electric motors and controllers.
 
The Role:
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst to provide front line support to the business by maintaining PCs, laptops and associated IT peripherals used within the business. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be the first point of contact for IT related queries company wide.
 
Key responsibilities will include:

Providing high quality, dedicated support via the internal helpdesk ticketing system
Taking ticket ownership to resolution or escalating to other team members where applicable
Troubleshooting and diagnostics of wide range of hardware and software issues across all types of devices (desk/laptops/tablets/printers/switches etc.)
Creating and maintaining the IT asset register
Installation and configuration of new hardware (laptops/desktops etc.)
Setup/configurations and day-to-day maintenance of end user Active Directory (AD) accounts
MS Office 365 and key business application support  
Skills and experience required:

Previous proven experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word, and Outlook)
Experience of MS O365, Win 10, MS Azure, Exchange, and Sophos
Resourceful, well organised, highly dependable and detail oriented
Proven track record of good customer service to the end user
Excellent analytical and judgment skills including ability to troubleshoot and advise on solutions around technical operations
A flexible approach to work with the desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Results-orientated with the ability to meet tight project deadlines
Good collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams within an organisation
A strong team player with the ability to train, mentor, and lead in technical areas
Willingness and ability to travel to other sites as required
