Head of Internal Audit and Assurance

I am working with an industry-leading organisation based in Hampshire who are looking for a Head of Internal Audit and Assurance to come on board and take charge of a new exciting project. You will be leading a small audit team and will be responsible for shaping and driving the maturity of their audit and assurance capabilities. This is a new role for our client, so you will have the opportunity to come into the business and have real influence in the way the business operates going forward!

You will be given the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis and only be expected to travel into the office 2 times per week on a hybrid basis.

We are looking for:

Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO).

Experience leading an internal audit function.

Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong communication skills.

Significant experience across the three core aspects of enterprise control – risk, controls and assurance.
