Job Description

Head of Marketing / Marketing Manager with strong IT Services and/or Cyber Security marketing experience needed to own marketing, brand, and comms for a global IT company.

We’re on the lookout for a brilliant Interim Head of Marketing to join the team to cover a period of maternity leave.

Minimum 6-month fixed-term contract

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for leading the marketing division which includes ownership of the brand and all marketing activities. You will be expected to drive and execute integrated marketing strategies to meet the commercial, brand and customer goals of the business.

The successful candidate will represent the marketing function as a key member of the senior leadership team. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders within the business including Sales, Commercial, Cyber Security and other departments to support strategic business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Owning the development and delivery of the 2023 marketing strategy and all activities that sit beneath it, including lead generation, social media management, website development, content creation, email, PR etc.

* Planning, creating, and executing lead and demand generation activities through multi-channel campaigns, predominantly to support cyber security and our licensee proposition. Responsible for growing the volume of digital leads generated on time and within budget.

* Managing one direct report alongside agency management.

* Ongoing development of the company website to meet strategic business needs, including new page creation, content creation and management, conversion optimisation, SEO enhancements and performance analysis.

* Being the brand guardian for A&O IT Group and its subsidiaries. Continuing to develop an evolving brand strategy and ensuring clarity and consistency across the Group as it grows.

* Running the content strategy including creative, positioning, execution, reach and channel growth.

* Equipping the Sales team and other departments with required sales / marketing / customer engagement materials and collateral such as sales presentation and case studies both digitally and offline.

* Enhancing internal communications with our global employee base.

* Social media management and growth of our LinkedIn profile and other relevant social channels such as Twitter.

* Working closely with the relevant teams on the development of a Licensee proposition; including roll-out, marketing and customer collateral, the ‘Licensee experience’ development.

* Analysis and reporting on all key marketing activity within the business.

* Strong analytical skills and proficient in reporting key data back to the business, including at senior leadership level.

Experience and Skills Required

This is a hands-on role that requires a person who is very comfortable rolling up their sleeves and implementing our B2B marketing strategy within a very small team working.

* A relevant degree or qualification.

* Experienced professional with a minimum of 8 years B2B Marketing Experience, preferably in the IT Services or Cyber Security sectors.

* Confident operating at senior leadership level

* Strategically minded with the ability to support at a tactical level.

* Highly proficient and a proven track record in implementing and developing marketing / lead gen campaigns and activity.

* Strong branding thought leadership and content strategy and execution background. Demonstrated ability as a strong storyteller and crafter to establish differentiation.

* Skilled in website management and development experience

* Strong analytical skills and proficient in reporting key data back to the business, including at senior leadership level. Proficient with key analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Words etc.

* Experience working with Salesforce and tracking from leads to conversion.

* Agency selection and management

* Strong working knowledge of digital marketing and the options available to the business.

* A proactive go-getter adept at managing multiple projects.

* Experience in setup and management of key digital marketing channels; PPC, SEO, email, content, social media, video, events and partnership marketing.

* Proficient writer of eshots, newsletters and website materials

* Demonstrated capacity to take data-informed decisions and assess business performance.
