Head of Software Development – Fantastic Lifestyle bens

Tria Recruitment are very pleased to be appointed as the recruiting partner with a progressive organisation that are going through a long-term transformation programme that is facilitating positive change throughout all departments & levels.

A Head of Software Engineering, Software Development is required to head up 3 internal teams that work on software development, software engineering solutions across the whole organisation & also in conjunction with 3rd party software suppliers.

As the Head of Software Development, this is an opportunity for you to manage and lead development teams, as well as working on the strategic direction of the department and nurture talent as the tech function matures. You will be a strategic thinker and will have the remit to set the vision for tech within the company and implement an organisational roadmap for the future. The organisation is moving toward the Cloud & Power Apps, and are looking to bring their legacy systems up to industry standard and you will be a key part in this move as well as and also providing positive motivation.

This opportunity has a flexible approach to work life balance, where you will split between the London offices and working remotely from home circa 2 – 3 days, each week.

Experience required:

Experience of leading software engineering/development teams
Worked in an agile environment
A background in Software Development with an understanding of the software lifecycle
A genuine interest in emerging technologies
The ability to create a positive and creative working culture
Ability to work remotely whilst still building strong internal relationships is essential.

Previous experience of working in a structured environment would be beneficial coupled with a project management qualification (Prince 2, MSP or similar)

The permanent role is offering a salary of upto £80k initially and the holidays are a total of 42 days + very generous 21% pension and flexibility on working from home as well.
