Job Description

Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with a local housing provider. We are recruiting for a Well-being Lead to join their Organisational Development team on a permanent basis to lead on the health and well-being programme across the company by reviewing working practices, promoting wellbeing, introducing new initiatives, and developing the right culture to positively support attendance.

Contract Type: Permanent (Temp to Perm)
Contract Type: Part time
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (flexible with days worked)
Location: NG8 with great public transport routes from city centre
Salary: £40,478 – £43,561 per annum FTE (actual pro rata amount – £24,292 – £26,136 per annum).

Qualifications/Licenses/Experience or Certifications:
* 2 years' experience in HR
* 2 years' experience in coaching or counselling

MAIN DUTIES WILL REQUIRE YOU TO:
* Lead on and act as the Company expert, on the employee health and well-being programme and absence management initiatives across NCH. Evaluate the impact of stress in the workplace and introduce related solutions. Support the Head of OD to manage sickness absence projects
* Support HR, as the Well-being company expert, with complex case work related to well-being issues and provide innovative options that offer support to colleagues, that return to work early, and/or provide advice on retirement / alternative options
* Sensitively support colleagues who have been out of the workplace to return. Helping to create a supportive approach when workplace
* Work with the HR team and Data Analyst to identify patterns of sickness absence and work with service areas on targeted initiatives to reduce sickness absence and produce MI that identifies root causes and solutions provided
* Work with other organisations to identify best practice in reducing sickness absence and well-being initiatives
* Act as the course owner for the absence management training, creating bespoke learning for departments as required
* Work with Occupational Health to signpost individuals on sick leave to other areas of specialist advice, information and support. Monitor and reduce costs
* Support line managers in the completion of stage 3 sickness reports that will need advocacy, persuasion and sensitivity. Advise managers on issues relating to the management of absence
* Act as a Company ambassador, promoting the Company's culture and values internally and to other stakeholders
* Be responsible for effective resource management and value for money in their service area
* Empower and develop people to become excellent NCH employees
* Effectively cross company engagement with other managers to ensure joined up service development and delivery
* Provide professional advice and support to EMT, Board Members, tenant and leaseholders representatives
* Actively promote putting tenants and leaseholders at the heart of everything we do
* Additional duties as allocated by NCH as and when required
