Job Description

A great client of mine is looking to hire a talented and hardworking 1st level IT Support Technician. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting the IT team across the breath of the wider business and will report to the head of IT.

Key Responsibilities:

Able to helpdesk calls and create support tickets
Provide Call logging, 1st/2nd/3rd line support to all our users
Interfacing (or acting for) with third line and third-party support
Prompt attention to incidents so that they are dealt with in a timely manner or escalated
Place and track IT orders from hardware, software & services
Assign mobile device software to relevant smartphones.Essential Skills

Understanding of Technology
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively and efficiently
Ability to interrogate calls and determine salient information.
Ability to progress incidents and requests
Knowledge of supporting and configuring Microsoft Windows and Microsoft technologies
Is self-starting, with good analytical skills and solutions driven
