Salary: £22,500 – £25,500 per annum

The Role
Cantium ICT are recruiting for an ICT Support Engineer within the End User Support Team. The team provide face to face and remote desktop support to customers across Kent
This role provides scheduled on-site IT support for Primary and Special schools, working in the east of Kent. By working regularly in a small number of schools, you will get to know your customers well, enabling you to deliver effective reactive and proactive IT support on-site.
You will have a good understanding of Microsoft technologies, desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices and networking. You will demonstrate a passion for delivering excellent customer service, alongside the ability to learn new technologies quickly and be able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy. As well as being organised and motivated, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to where and when you work. A driving license and use of a car are essential.
IT qualifications, experience of providing IT support and/or working in a school are beneficial.

Key Duties
Responds to requests for support remotely or on customer sites resolving incidents and requests as appropriate with KPI’s and SLAs
Ensure detailed call notes are taken including all steps to resolution
Assists with providing an effective interface between users and service providers, including external commercial suppliers where applicable. This interface includes documenting incidents, progress checking, and ensuring all diagnostic information is provided for error resolution and incident analysis
Assists customers in making more effective use of systems, products and services. Makes initial diagnosis of any problems and advises known solutions where applicable. Investigates more complex technical issues sharing this knowledge with colleagues.
What we need from you
IT qualifications, experience of providing IT support and/or working in a school are beneficial.
Experienced with Office365
Excellent level of customer service ensuring customers full needs are taken into account
Able to work from our offices based in Kings Hill 2 days per week
