Seeking an inquisitive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Incident Response Analyst to join an expanding Security Team!
As an Incident Response Analyst, a typical day could involve generating and managing security alerts or identifying and monitoring known vulnerabilities. However, the responsibilities are extensive, offering you a chance to work on a diverse range of projects while taking ownership and strategically influencing all of their global cyber security systems.
Responsibilities will include:
• Design and execute a security detection and response program to safeguard the organization's data and intellectual property against internal and external threats.
• Proactively search for and respond to any suspicious activity and unusual events on the organization's devices and networks.
• Create automated tools for detecting and addressing potential vulnerabilities proactively to prevent future incidents.
You would need around 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security, with specific expertise in security operations and vulnerability management.
Python Scripting experience
Experience using log analysis platforms such as ELK and Splunk
Experience with Linux (Debian is a huge plus!)
During the interview process, you will be required to sit a Python Scripting and Linux technical test whilst being observed, so you must feel confident that you would be good to sit this test before applying for this role.
