18 Month Contract – must hold SC Clearance

2 Days per week on-site near Bath

Experience Needed – DataCentre, VMWare, Microsoft OnPrem.

Technical leadership role, On-Prem infrastructure design and ability to lead a team of technical engineers to build and test capability covering the delivery of an on-prem deploy application workloads into an existing Data centre capability.

Architectural support in order to support the design of the platform and enable decision making by client.

Supply both architectural and implementation/integration SMEs that will support and deliver the initial design work and subsequently build and deploy the elements agreed in the project plan.

Experience needed includes:

High level and Low level designs
Implementation and testing of the environment
Strong delivery skills who can work across multiple streams and stakeholders to ensure end to end plan is understood and delivered
Strong planning and scheduling skills – able to document, present and maintain
Team player who enjoys working in a fast paced, complex environment and has a can do attitude
Ability to draw out technical requirements from architect, engineers and DC operations team to ensure tasks are managed and controlled and timelines understood
Experience in introducing new infrastructure into IT Data centres, knowledge of Operational and logistical requirements and able to plan and support processes and adhere to DC Ops guidelines
Understanding of logistics and data centre build out requirements at a technical level to be able to support architects and engineers to ensure things are not missed or not planned through.
