Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

* Providing Support of IM&T Infrastructure – including Windows Systems & Applications

* Maximise network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades

* Undertake fault investigations within various environments using information from multiple sources

* Ensure network security by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access

* Working as a team to develop solutions to be approved by Architecture and deployed into through life support

* Researching problems and issues, gather information from a range of physical and informational sources, review defects on platform or assembly in order to gain a complete understanding of the problem and all relevant circumstances

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

* Install, configure & support Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019 and Windows 10; Active directory, domain management, security hardening, patching, antivirus

* Install, configure & maintain of VMware

* The successful candidate will also have experience with a variety of IT administration & management frameworks

Desirable:

* Install, Configure, maintain networking assets in the main using Palo Alto and Aruba

* Administration skills for Cloud platforms

The Infrastructure Service Competency Centre Team:

This team is responsible for delivering new enabling capabilities, developing and delivering solutions, resolving support issues and maintaining, managing and optimising the overall performance and availability of the infrastructure. Customers are our internal engineering and product teams and we will work to bridge the gap between infrastructure and software development and drive efficiency through high levels of automation.
