Role – Infrastructure Engineer aka Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, IT Support, 3rd line Support
Salary – Competitive + 7.5% Pension, Private Health, 25 Days + On call (should you wish to join rota)
Location – Abingdon, Oxfordshire – Hybrid (2 days work from home)
The role
You will be one of two Infrastructure Engineers reporting into a Network manager supported by a 3-man helpdesk supporting almost 500 users. You will be supporting the network (Switches, Routers, Firewalls) and servers (primarily windows on prem a little Linux / Azure) in a data centre environment. The company works closely with the UK government so an ability and willingness to get SC Clearence will be required.

Network
TCP-IP, BGP, DHCP
Switches
Routers
Firewalls
Servers
Windows Server
AD
Group Policy
Exchange
Experience of Azure, Scripting (PowerShell / Shell etc) and Linux would be beneficial
Accreditations especially in networking / infrastructure e.g. Network+, CCNA, CCNP would be a bonus
