Job Description

We are searching for an Integration Developer / Integration Engineer for a growing and leading healthcare technology business based in Devon.

To be considered for this role you must have commercial experience working with integration platforms such as Ensemble, Rhapsody, Mirth. You MUST have development experience in at least one of the major integration engine platforms.

This role can be home-based (remote), office-based or a mixture of home-based and office-based working – the client is very flexible regarding this.

You will be servicing NHS clients across the UK, reporting to the Head of Integration you will be working closely with the existing development team – collaboration is key to success along with being able to work in an Agile environment.

Our client's integration team is cross functional so you will need to excel in interface design, development, debugging and deployment.

You will need solid experience in a mixture of the following to be successful in the role;

Computer Science degree or equivalent.
Experience of Integration technologies (Ensemble, Rhapsody, Mirth etc.)
Knowledge of HL7 standards and protocols (e.g., HL7, ITK and/or IHE).
Experience using C# or Java or JavaScript (or similar) to build integration solutions to other systems and devices.
A good understanding of object-orientated programming techniques, environments and tools.
Experience in developing and supporting integration solutions using appropriate architectures and tools.
Experience in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) integration.
Service definition, design and implementation, using WSDL/SOAP and REST
A proven track record of delivering successful projects.
Desirable Skills (nice to have but NOT essential!)

Knowledge and experience working with Cloud hosted integration patterns, including Microsoft Service Bus Architecture.
Health Care and/or Clinical Systems experience.
Strong database skills, SQL, Oracle or similar.
Knowledge of FHIR standards and concepts.
Experience working within an Agile Development Environments.
NHS experience.
