Role and Responsibilities

* Provide leadership to the department’s small IT Development team

* Act as a product owner, managing the continuous life cycle and cyber security of the in-house and bespoke developments

* Prioritise and schedule IT development work and manage its delivery using Agile methodology

* Work with IT leadership to develop and maintain IT plans and strategy

* Translate business requirements into tangible, realistic IT development deliverables and outcomes

Skills and Qualifications

* Previous experience leading Agile developments

* Hands on experience of IT development using at least one software development language (preferably C#)

* A working knowledge of .net, Web Services, JavaScript, JSON, HTML5 and CSS

* Experience within IT change management

* A working knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform and microservices architecture (desirable)

* Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (desirable)

* A computer science degree (desirable) or comparable industry experience
