Salary: from £20,000 – £27,000 depending on your level of expereince

My client is currently recruiting for a first- and second-line Field IT Engineer to expand their growing helpdesk team. The role of the Field IT Engineer is to support existing and new customers IT requirements and work closely with third-line engineers on higher level problems. You will be working with a client base which covers charitable, business, and educational sectors across all of Norfolk and some parts of Suffolk. Company vehicle provided for work travel.
Your main duties will be to provide on-site support to client’s sites which are spread across the county of Norfolk for issues that cannot be resolved remotely. This will include diagnosing hardware and software faults, installing hardware and other ad hoc duties our clients may need.
You will be part of a small, professional and friendly team. Working in a supportive environment.
Monday to Friday 8.30am- 4.30pm.
Essential Skills
* At least 2 years within an IT Support environment
* Experience working with O365/M365
* Hardware and software experience
* Good problem-solving skills
* Friendly and approachable.
* Highly enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
* A DBS check is required for this role
* Able to form and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, service users and third parties.
* Ability to multi-task and deal with a range of incoming enquires – organisation is key to the success of this role.
* Have a full UK Driving license
Desirable skills
* At least a level 3 IT qualification
* 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C/7-4 in any subject, plus GCSE English and maths (or equivalents) at grade C or above
* Knowledge of Google Workspace
* Knowledge of apple devices
* Aruba Networking
Training to be provided
* ITIL V4 Foundation
* Industry-recognised certifications
