IT Help Desk Support – 1st Line Support| Colchester | Monday-Friday 9am to 5:30pm | £18,000-£26,000 depending on experience | 25 days holiday

Excellent communication skills that allow you to interact with customers & colleagues
Working knowledge of desktop applications to include Microsoft Office
What will your role as an IT Help Desk Support look like?
Support existing customer base via phone/email/in person
Provide technical assistance for questions and problems
Create a superlative customer experience with proactive communication throughout the life cycle of a support issue
Escalate more technically challenging issues to second-line support staff while keeping the customer fully informed of the progress
Following up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues
Recording of common issues with resolutions within a support database
Remote Installation of software updates
Check data backup logs for expected operation
