IT Helpdesk Engineer – Coventry – £25k – £28k – Manufacturing
1 st Line Support | Active Directory | O365 | Ticketing System | Communication
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
Location: Coventry
Are you an experienced 1 st line support professional, looking for a new challenge in your career? Do you have demonstrable experience in managing access and creating distribution groups in Active Directory? Have you previously maintained an O365 environment? I'm looking to speak with individuals who have excellent communication skills and can deal with external customers and internal users. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of ticketing systems. You must be have a willingness to learn and develop and high levels of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Log and resolve service desk tickets within the ticketing system
Carry out repairs on any faulty software and hardware
Administer Office 365
Administer Active Directory
Oversee IT access requests
Put together and distribute IT equipment
Manage the starters and leaver process for all IT users
Support the implementation of IT projects
Travel between sites to support internal users as and when required
The Ideal Candidate
Willingness and desire to continue learning and develop skill set
Full UK Driving Licence with willingness to travel between sites
Minimum 1 years IT Helpdesk experience
Excellent attention to detail
Desire to see resolutions through to their conclusion
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Relevant IT support qualification
