Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Colchester
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for the Automobile industry and a strong footing in Linux, VMWare & Storage Solutions to join our client's team in Colchester. The successful candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, taking ownership of scenarios and a proven track record of providing effective, hands-on IT solutions.

The main responsibilities of the caandidate include:
* Design, implementation and maintenance of Linux and storage systems
* Ensure the security, reliability and availability of on-premise IT systems through monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Install, support and configure Virtualization and Cloud Solutions.
* Liaise with external vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery.
* Maintain service and support processes to ensure high efficiency of systems such as ITIL & ServiceNow.

Technical Skills/Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in hands-on IT Infrastructure
* Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of storage services – in particularly NetApp technologies & tools
* Hands-on experience with installation, configuration and administration of VMWare
* Experience building Cloud Automation E.g PowerShell,Kubernetes, Docker, Azure
* Strong skillset within Linux Administration – (Redhat Desirable)
* Experience in architecting On-Prem & Azure Environments
* Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
