This is an opportunity to work with an Azure Expert MSP and one of the UK's most respected Azure Partners as a IT Infrastructure Manager for one of their global clients. You will be positioned as part of the incumbent team across a global IT estate which operates in more than 40 countries in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and North America, leading a team of 6 Engineers (4 Wintel/Infrastrucute Engineers, 1 DBA, 1 Network engineer)
What are we looking for…
We are looking for a highly experienced individual who can manage, maintain, and stabilise existing BAU operations to enable the IT Services and cloud adoption processes in each country to be achieved.
You'll need to be comfortable across core Cloud Infrastructure (Azure) services and have a base line understanding of Networking and Databases to act as a technical leader for the technical engineering as well as the ability to identity optimisation opportunities in the current ITL Service/Operations function.
The skill you'll need to bring…
As theIT Infrastructure Manager,you will have experience in most of the following:
Experience of managing infrastructure teams (min of 5 Team Members) with a proven track record of delivering sustainable performance against challenging business targets.
A technical background in Cloud (Azure, Windows Infrastructure and Networking) – you'll either still be hands-on or have recent transistioned into a hands-off management/technical lead role.
Experience of cloud IaaS/PaaS operational support, ideally in Azure including governance, security, and cost
Experience of working within standard frameworks including: ISO 27000, ISO 20000 and ITIL
Proven experience gained in a complex and varied IT Operations environment.
Experience of leading and embedding change across an IT environment.
