We're looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to join our client's Infrastructure team. The key is about automation and transformation as much as it is about support and maintenance.

Role Purpose

To develop, implement and support the IT infrastructure including but not limited to Networks, Security, Cloud, Storage, Servers, and Business Systems.

Delivering a digital transformation strategy within a small team of technical colleagues under the leadership of the Director of IT
To achieve a reliable and resilient enterprise architecture in servers, storage and platforms as well as networking and Wi-Fi.

Role Duties

Install Software updates for our business systems, servers and infrastructure devices.
Investigate, develop, test and implement new technologies in line with industry best practice.
Support and develop the data management strategy.
Work with the IT Services Management team in the implementation of IT projects and strategy
Develop systems and procedures within own specialist area and scripts to automate procedures using the best practice technologies and techniques.
Produce documentation in liaison with the IT Infrastructure Manager
Usage of the Microsoft E5 Services including but not limited to Defender ATP, Teams, O365, Windows Server, Microsoft Azure platform, and Juniper Networking including but not limited to switching and wireless.
Usage of Fortinet firewalls.
Comply with all aspects of the Data Protection Act.
