Role: IT manager
Benefits: 5% matched pension, Profit Related Pay (e.g. paying 10% this year).

IT Manager to develop and support our IT infrastructure, websites, and business applications.
Whilst we don't expect you to be an expert across all these domains, you should have a practical hands-on approach, and an active interest in learning and understanding how to setup, configure, and program such equipment and applications. Your days will be varied and challenging, covering the whole spectrum of IT activities, from support to helping define our global IT operation and ongoing migration to cloud and onpremise virtualised services.
Equally important is maintaining and developing our in-house servers, business systems based on Filemaker™, and our internal and external websites with their dynamic PHP based content and SQL databases.
You will be based at our HQ in Tewkesbury in the UK, helping to develop the IT infrastructure to support our rapidly growing company, bringing together the operations of our offices in the USA, India, China, Bulgaria, and Italy
Specific Job Responsibilities
Definition and implementation of company strategic IT operations, including global office networking, cloud-based services, cybersecurity and disaster recovery.
Configuration, management and administration of IT infrastructure, consisting of Windows and Linux (Debian, Ubuntu & others) Servers and Desktops.
Configuration and administration of Office365 (Teams, Sharepoint, Exchange, OneDrive)
Implementation and management of the new resilient virtualised infrastructure
Migration of existing physical servers to the virtual environment
Development and maintenance of internal and external websites (PHP, MySQL, Filemaker™).
Development and maintenance of the company VoIP telephone and time-attendance systems.
Development and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Development and maintenance of inter-site & personal VPN connections
Development and maintenance of on-site security mechanisms (firewalls, anti-malware, intruder detection systems, white-hat attack testing, etc)
Must have skills:
At least 5 years total experience in relevant roles. Certification preferred.
Windows, vmWare and Linux Operating Systems.
Configuration and management of LAN/WAN networks consisting of Windows, vmWare and Linux operating systems. Cisco Meraki and Netgear managed switches incorporating VLANs
PC, laptop & Server hardware knowledge sufficient to repair & upgrade equipment as necessary
Development and maintenance of websites (IIS, Apache, PHP, SQL, Filemaker™).
Configuration of Active Directory in a Hybrid environment, DHCP, DNS (including bind), IIS, LDAP, MySQL, Apache, Subversion, Trac, Redmine, MS SQL server, FileMaker server.
Familiarity with the configuration of common network equipment; routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, printers etc.
Configuration and administration of Jenkins based software build server.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, etc
Administration of Tensor time and attendance system
Administration & development of Asterisk/FreePBX-based VoIP telephone system.
Knowledge and experience of high-level programming or scripting languages along with database configuration and programming.
Business Systems Analysis, developing SoW documents and project management.
