My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to permanently join their team in the Cranleigh office!
You'll be leading the IT team, monitoring the hardware and software infrastructure, alongside working closely with the Senior Management teams and key stakeholders to develop and identify opportunities for continuous improvements.
*Providing high-end 1st and 2nd Line Support
*Develop and review IT policies and procedures, disaster recovery, risk management and business continuity
*Coordinating and participating in hardware and software installations
*Working closely with all Senior Managers and stakeholders to identify and develop new opportunities for improvements
*Ensuring that all applications and systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations
*Analysing and monitoring the patterns and trends in the IT data
*Monitor the safety and reliability of the IT infrastructure and governance of IT functions
*Maintain the asset register and complete system checks and scheduled maintenance
*Train and mentor junior staff

Technical Skills Required:
*3/4 years experience in a similar role
*Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products – including O365, Windows 10, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange/Outlook and Windows Server
*GDPR, data protection and copyright laws
*Knowledge of VoIP systems, Wi-Fi, Firewalls and Switches
*Good understanding of infrastructure – including firewall, IPS monitoring, internet content filtering and log analysis
*Analysing technical problems and communicating solutions to end users
*Basic hardware installations, repair and diagnose faults
*Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and Anti-Virus software
*ITIL framework knowledge
*Previous SEN/education sector experience
*SMART products – including whiteboards, projectors, and telephony
*Cloud migrations and applications
