IT Security Analyst – Up to £40,000 – Oxford

My client is currently recruiting an IT Security Analyst to join their internal cyber security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing system checks, conducting penetration testing, risk assessments, and auditing business units for compliance to ISO 27001 controls, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct system checks to ensure the security of our IT systems
Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses
Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks
Audit business units for compliance to ISO 27001 controls, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into our systems and processes
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and security threats
Develop and maintain documentation for IT security policies, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in IT security, including experience in penetration testing, risk assessments, and compliance audits
Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
