IT Security Operations Manager needed for a permanent career opportunity based in Abingdon (Oxfordshire). Start ideally in March/April 2023.

A chance to join an established IT services and technology support business. Hybrid remote working with the option to work from home for 3 days/week, and 2 days on-site from the Abingdon office.

Key experience + tasks will include:

Overall responsibility for protecting IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, software + data assets from cyber security threats.

Experience of leading an IT Security Operations Team including ISO:27001, Cyber Essentials, SOCII, NIST CSF frameworks (or similar).

Day-to-day management of the IT Security Operations Team, including IT Security incidents, investigations, monitoring + reporting.

Providing reporting metrics and dashboards, attending IT security meetings + engaging with key stakeholders on cyber security matters.

Monitoring the IT security threat landscape, identifying gaps using the 'Mitre Attack Framework'.

Leading key IT security activities including: network / systems monitoring, threat detection, alarms, vulnerability assessments + penetration testing.

Resolving and escalating IT security issues depending on the severity of the threat.

IT Security certification preferred -eg- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CompTIA Security+.
