Job Description
Commercial Services Group is recruiting for an IT Service Desk Technician on behalf of Cantium Business Solutions, which is part of Commercial Services Group.
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 per annum

The Role
The IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for all IT related incidents and service requests.
The Service Desk Technician is responsible for logging and resolving Incidents, as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands. IT staff work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment which provides services via an online Service Management System. Planning, communication, organisation and thinking outside of the box are all key requirements for the role.
Key Duties
Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents including our operating systems across a range of software applications
Assisting users with any logged IT related incidents
Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement workarounds with the aim of restoring service to our customers as soon as possible and ensuring this is documented appropriately
Accurately record, update and document Incident and Requests using the IT Service Desk Application
Install and configure new IT equipment
Administration of our SharePoint environment, including creating new folders and pages and administering access permissions
Perform archiving of completed matters in Peppermint (Dynamics CRM)
Creation and administration of Peppermint workflows in Dynamics 365 as required
What we need from you
Proven experience in a similar role within a similar industry or related field
Experience with Microsoft Windows Environments including Office 365 or Exchange 2016/2019 and Microsoft Dynamics 365
Microsoft Windows (7, 8, 10) installation, support and troubleshooting
Microsoft Windows Server installation, support and troubleshooting
Microsoft Exchange support and troubleshooting
Active Directory configuration and file / folder level permissions
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS / DHCP)
VOIP telephony systems
Microsoft SharePoint Online
Virtualisation technology (Hyper-V, vmWare)
Cloud services (Azure would be advantageous)
