Duties. Work. Projects.

As our IT Service Manager, you will:

Analyse, own and resolve complex issues, coordinating support when you need it
Provide IT business support, procedural guidance and training product support
Make sure we have the Products and Services we need and that they are delivering the best value for money in meeting business and user requirements.
Manage and monitor performance
Own stakeholder relationships
Take responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes.
Have some line management responsibilities which would require setting team objectives, managing development of others and acting as a point of escalation.

You'll need to show us these skills, knowledge and experience in your application:

Investigating patterns and trends to resolve problems, to determine the appropriate remedy, implementation and preventative measures.
Understanding operational processes of running and maintaining product or service.
Successful delivery of high-quality outcomes that meet the customers' needs and gives value for money.
Taking a positive, open approach to the possibility of change and encouraging others to do the same, in looking for ways to use technology to achieve efficient and effective results.
Presenting strong recommendations in a timely manner outlining the consideration of other options, costs, benefits and risks.

In return for your skills, we offer a competitive salary of £34,173 -£34,971.

You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of over 27.1%, meaning over £9000 in your pension pot each year.
