Our talented engineers in the Enforcement Support Team are responsible for supporting bespoke solutions delivered internationally which address Civil and Criminal traffic violations; think Clean Air Zones, Average Speed and Bus Lane enforcement.

The 1st Line Support Desk Engineer will provide support to all users of our Digital Enforcement Solution. Ensure the efficient running of all hardware, software and services as part of a team of Enforcement Support Engineers

The role is responsible for:

Be the point of contact for our customers and work proactively to support our range of solutions to ensure that they can do their bit in addressing local challenges with road transport and the environment whilst delivering an exceptional level of service. The role is demanding and requires a keen sense of detail and focus to achieve success:

Provide telephone support, first line fault finding and investigations.

Ensuring the InView Fault Management system is used to record issues and provide updates to the affected client.

Generate and analyse system performance reports in order to proactively identify issues and opportunities for system optimization

Undertake appropriate training for equipment and systems as and when necessary, via formal and informal training, including on the job training.

Any other duties reasonably required within the skills required for the role

To be considered for the IT Support Engineer you must have the below skills and experience

You must have a passionate interest or experience working with PC hardware and software; fault finding, diagnosing and repairing.

Be interested in learning bespoke and technical systems.

Experience of working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and basic networking principles

Proactive and result-oriented (you’ll also have a structured and hands-on approach to complex tasks).

Advantageously someone with an understanding of SQL and possesses the ability to create queries to manipulate and retrieve data.
