We are delighted to be recruiting for our local client, a successful IT business providing IT support on site and remotely to there dedicated client base.
Who you'll be working for – As a Microsoft Gold Cloud Solutions Provider, M365, productivity and Security are at the heart of what we do. We build our solutions around our clients to enable them to operate securely and efficiently be that in a cloud, Hybrid or on-premises environment. We work with best-of-breed technologies covering all our client’s infrastructure. Providing exceptional service, we manage 1000s of users daily with hardware and software that we have built and supplied, with relations going back for well over 15 years.
They are seeking an IT Support Engineer to work closely alongside an exceptional in-house team as well as having the opportunity and excitement of working on site to carry out planned maintenance, project work and helping to support there amazing clients in Herts, Beds, Bucks and beyond. You will be working alongside the internal support team which includes a tight-knit helpdesk team and the IT Manager.
The ideal candidate will have MSP experience utilising and supporting:
· Extensive use of AD, Windows 10 and Server (Apply online only).
· Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
· RMM (remote monitoring and management software).
· VPN’s, networking and connectivity tools.
· Server virtualisation software (we use Hyper-V).
· SSD, RAM and general hardware upgrades.
The role will be split between working on our helpdesk supporting the customers, to visiting clients on site to break/fix (updates, patching, etc.) and project work. They are currently undergoing several projects, including large server upgrades and you will be working closely alongside an experienced infrastructure professional who will mentor you in your role.
You must drive and have access to your own transport
Permanent Full-time position based in Letchworth
Salary dependent on experience 28k – 35k
