Do you have experience supporting IT Systems for a Supply Chain client? Deerfoot IT is helping a respected Retail company recruit a Systems Engineer to support the internal systems used by a Supply Chain client and the role comes with an attractive salary of up to £40k p/a and a benefits package.

As a Systems Engineer, you will play an active part in the maintenance and enhancement of our client's Supply Chain technology stack and the integration with other supporting systems.

You will also work alongside other technology team members and software vendors during the move to the new cloud platform and then in the management of the systems after the migrations are complete.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

*Work closely with business subject experts and other Technology team members to ensure the systems operate effectively and are supported in line with business operating requirements
*Identify opportunities for improving the use technology to benefit the business operation and operating costs
*Ensure that new solutions and enhancements are designed, planned, delivered, and supported in accordance with the Technology team's agreed standards.
*Take ownership of incidents to resolution and communicate updates to the agreed stakeholders

To apply for this Systems Engineer you will need at least 3 years of experience supporting Supply Chain or Logistics software. You will also require the following:

Supporting the Systems used by Supply Chain clients (Demand Planning, Purchasing, WMS ect)
Direct involvement with system integration and user acceptance testing
Good operational and change management skills
