IT Technician required for my client based near Brentford, this role is for someone who has experience either working within the education sector or public sector.

You need to be able to reliably travel to site – this is an fully ONSITE position.

Job Title: IT Technician (Education Sector)

* Duration: 5-month contract (rolling)

* Hours: 7.45am to 3.45pm/ 8am to 4pm.

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join their team for a 5-month contract near Brentford. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing support to both 200 staff and 1500 students in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing technical support for Chromebooks, Whiteboards, MS Servers, Networks, and other IT-related equipment

* Working alongside the IT Manager to deliver top-notch support services to staff and students

* Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions

* Setting up and maintaining IT equipment and systems

* Assisting with network administration tasks

* Maintaining accurate records of support requests and resolutions

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role within the educational or public sector

* Possession of a current Enhanced DBS (non-essential)

* In-depth knowledge of IT systems and equipment

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
