Job Description

Legal IT Trainer – Home working 100% – 35-45k + Excellent Bens

Training experience within a Law firm required.

Fantastic opportunity to join a leading International Law firm. This is a Home working role with occasional travel.

You will be responsible for delivering training to the UK, Europe and Middle East offices via a virtual classroom, therefore an ability to communicate effectively with employees who are non-native English speakers is essential. You will be rewarded with an attractive package as well as being entitled to our comprehensive benefits.

With over 1,500 lawyers spanning more than 40 offices across four continents, the firm is renowned for its local connections and global influence, delivering comprehensive legal services across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. In the UK, we have offices in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and London.

The Team

The role sits within the Technology Training team, which is a global team within the Technology department. You will work closely with the wider Technology Department and liaise with key stakeholders within the business and support departments as required.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering IT training courses and blended learning programs for the firm's technology, including desktop applications, Intranet based programmes, mobile devices and security.

The majority of your time will be spent delivering training courses, in a virtual classroom, where your audience might range from one to 20 delegates. The ability to plan and prioritise workloads without supervision is therefore essential. You will also be expected to perform training administration tasks such as course bookings and requests, as well as get involved in ad-hoc projects on occasions.

You

You will have training experience working within a professional services environment, ideally in the legal sector.

You will be required to travel therefore flexibility towards travel is a must as you will be expected to spend some nights away from home.

You'll be COLF/CDOL certified or hold a similar qualification for delivering and developing online training, and have awareness of LTC4 Certifications and aligning training to the LTC4 Core Competencies.

You will have experience of working with a Learning Management System (LMS), a Document management system (DMS) and Practice management system (PMS). Experience of using Captivate to produce eLearning content is advantageous, but not essential
