THE COMPANY: Brewster Partners are delighted to be supporting a large Academy Trust with schools across the North East and West Yorkshire to recruit Trustees to their board.

The Trust has 22 schools in its portfolio (10 Primary and 12 secondary), all of which have Outstanding or Good Ofsted outcomes. The Trust has the young people and communities at the heart of everything it does ensuring all decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children and enhancing the life chances of the children and young people in their care.

THE JOB: The Trust has a well-established board with a diverse skillset and are looking to enhances this. They are looking for an individual that can ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction as well as holding executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the Trust and its pupils, and the performance management of staff.

As a Trustee you are a 'critical friend' to the board and Senior Leadership team and will be able to add value through your skills and experience. This is also a fantastic opportunity to join a board and utilise your experience to enhance an already superb Trust and indirectly support young people to reach their potential.

(You will be expected to attend 4 full board meetings and 4 sub committees per annum as a minimum)

THE PERSON: You will be a senior strategic leader with experience of working at a senior level within an organisation. The skillset that the Trust are ideally looking for are IT and HR
