Senior Java Software Engineer tech stack: Core Java, Spring, Hibernate to join an experienced solid professional Java dev team. You will have extensive programming and coding experience in Java and must be able to take control of your own work. This is to join a global telematics client on a journey of growth, who are tech driven and innovative.

Working with Core Java (8 & beyond), Open-source frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate, SQL to design and develop web applications in J2EE. You will work with unit testing using Junit.

The dev team develop REST-base applications and deploy and support applications in AWS.

This is a varied senior role in a fast-paced environment. As well as developing, you will be running your own technical projects, analysing complicated requirements, designing solutions, and writing technical specs. You will need to have excellent communication skills and provide leadership and guidance to more junior members. Your responsibilities day to day will include:

Interpreting business requirements, working on solution designs, working on solution designs, estimating effort required, developing the solutions, overseeing testing, and co-ordinating deployments.
Thinking creatively to bring new ideas and concepts to the existing applications.
Presenting ideas and concepts to the senior IT Leadership team and your peers in the development team.
