Our client is currently recruiting for a permanent product design engineer to work remotely or office based in Solihul. Our client is in the renewable energy sector working on exciting projects using wind power, solar energy and hydro power amongst others.

About the Role

We are looking for highly qualified programmers with knowledge of creating Java web apps. Java developers will be in charge of, among other things, identifying program features and functionality, analyzing user requirements and business goals, and suggesting modifications to already-existing Java-based applications.

Responsibilities for the Java Developer

Creating and putting into use Java-based apps. Examining user needs to guide application design. Defining the functionality and goals of the application.

Alignment of application design with corporate objectives. Software development and testing.

Identifying and fixing arising technological issues. Creating comprehensive design documentation.

Suggesting modifications to the current Java infrastructure. Creating multimedia software.

Creating information to help users.

Ensuring ongoing development of one's professional self. Making stipulations out of necessities

Prepare and create software component releases.

Qualifications for the Java Developer

A degree in computer science or a closely related subject.

Having knowledge of database structures, statistical studies, and user interface design.

Experience in the industry.

Good problem-solving abilities and an analytical mentality. Very good communication both verbally and in writing.

Effective time management.

Ability to function as a team member.
