    Job Description

    Java Developer – SC or NPPV3 Cleared – Reading – £500 a day

    You will join a global IT consultancy delivering digital transformation to a public sector body. You will join a team supporting and developing significant functional changes to a complex secure national policing system.

    Your skills and experience:

    Must have design and development skills using two or more of

    the following:

    Java 10

    Spring framework (preferably Spring Boot) or any other J2EE framework

    REST Services

    Experience working with XML and JSON documents

    Testing frameworks – Junit, Mockito.

    Desirable skills:

    Elasticsearch or Apache Solr

    Docker

    Working in CI/CD environments

    Relational Database experience

    BDD frameworks – Cucumber

    Working in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) based environment
