Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a leading software company based in Blackburn that is looking to expand its team and is looking for a Mid-Level Java Fullstack Developer. This role will be office based.

You will be someone who works well in a team and can also work on your own. The company works with various sectors and work with some of the UK’s biggest brands in the food industry such as Hovis and Warburton’s.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working across the full SDLC and helping with the migration to Java 11 as well as helping migrate into a web application based on Java and C#. You will also play a crucial role in helping them migrate to the cloud. You’ll be heavily involved in the technical direction of the company and play a vital role in helping with the road map.

If you are using a technology that you think could be beneficial to the company then they will listen to you and will look at utilizing it within the company. They have a very close-knit family feel and everyone works well as a team.

Skills required:

– Excellent Java experience

– Good experience with front-end – React / Angular / JS/ HTML / CSS

– SQL Database

– Experience with relational databases

– Some exposure to .Net

Desirable:

– AWS

– C# experience

– Hibernate

– Maven

The salary on offer for this position is up to £43,000 + Flexible working hours + 26 days holiday.
