I am recruiting for a firmly established regulator who work with the public and healthcare industry promoting patient safety, and they are looking for a switched-on IT Specialist to join their busy office based in London Bridge. The position is full time hours and permanent.
This junior IT Manager focused role is hands on, providing desktop support for staff working in the office and remotely, ensuring they have appropriate IT and related equipment to fulfil their roles.
Other duties include:
Ensuring event support at all meetings held in house, which may include IT equipment such as: telephones, mobile devices, audio visual equipment and computers.
Develop plans for future upgrades including sourcing new equipment where appropriate.
Regularly auditing the network to pre-empt problems developing and to establish software licence requirements.
Prepare comprehensive business cases in support of proposals for new hardware or software
Proactively promoting the use of the CRM Database system among departments providing support where necessary.
Ensuring the organisation has appropriate backup systems in place and that they are tested on a regular basis.
Responding to general and specialist enquiries from all relevant stakeholders.
Maintaining IT Asset Register.
Co-ordinating the collection and destruction of I.T hardware (including printer waste)

To be considered for a possible interview, you must have knowledge in:
Technical skills: Windows 10 Pro, Office365, multi-functional printers (Xerox), laptop and desktop support, NitroPro, Remote Desktop/Azure Host Pools, Teams, GoToMeeting, basic networking skills including knowledge of Local Area Networks and WiFi
Technical skills desirable but not essential: Integra CRM, Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Payroll, Opayo,
