Job Description
Are you a Junior Developer who is looking to be part of an exciting transformation program, with the opportunity to embrace the best and latest technologies.

Initially based onsite during the initial training then the role will move to Hybrid which is flexible depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* As the Junior Developer you will be involved with replacing on-prem systems and work on cloud-based enterprise level systems.
* You will be responsible for developing, adding new functionality and fixing issues in new applications.
* Working with key stakeholders and other Developers to agree solutions, technologies and designs
* As the Junior Developer you will be working alongside technology partners and be an integral part of the team that will architect and develop their next generation of systems
* Working with 3rd parties ensuring that as the preferred business partner through EDI systems
Required Abilities, Knowledge & Attributes:
Essential
* Previous experience working as a Junior Java Developer is essential
* Ideally experienced with SQL / No-SQL
* Experience in Rest API / JSON is essential
* Windows
* Knowledge of Git / Dev ops
* Passionate about technology
* Eager to learn and embrace new technologies
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to build relationships with people on all levels
* Flexible and yet organised and structured approach to all aspects of work
* Forward thinking and innovative Developer who isa not afraid to bring ideas to help drive technology
Desirable
* Azure Development would be highly advantageous
* Exposure to Kafka is highly desirable
* SSIS or Data Factory would be ideal
Salary: £30k-£50k – depending on experience plus benefits – pension, exclusive discounts on days out, eating out, staff discount on products, training & development
Location: Staffordshire – will then move to hybrid working once experienced
Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours
