The Role

This is an excellent Lab Tech role, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field. The Lab Tech will use knowledge of laboratory processes and best practices, a high-level or organisation and an ability to work autonomously to take ownership of the  entire lab environment, as well as overseeing the wider facilities, in-order to ensure the smooth running of every-day operations.

The Company

The Lab Tech will join an organisation spun-out of an existing, successful Med-Tech firm, and with funding secured, the Lab Tech will be joining a talented and dedicated team. This is an excellent company to work for with high staff retention, exciting and stimulating projects to work on. The Lab Tech will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern in place is full-time on-site in the Oxford-based office.

What’s Required?

The Ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

Prior commercial experience as a Lab Tech

Strong organisational skills

Any experience with lab analysis techniques such as chromatography or microscopy, lab health and safety training / certifications or experience acting as the in-house first-aider or fire marshal would be highly advantageous
