Salary:£35-50k dependent on experience + bonus + benefits
Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working-on-site 2-3 days per week, with flexibility. Travel is required in this role within the UK and to our sites in France and Italy, as well as liaising with suppliers and partners.
The opportunity:
Are you a Buyer looking for a Lead role? Come and join our software procurement team, which manages software across the Group. This includes Enterprise Software, SaaS and Services, and Engineering & Manufacturing. If you have skills in any one of these areas, or are looking to move into software procurement, then we would be please to discuss how you might best fit within the team!
You will work in partnership with our internal customers to manage procurement competitions for software and services, foster the right relationships with our partners and suppliers, and deliver the right procurement outcomes for MBDA. This role is one where you can run and build competitions and contribute in a truly international context.
Your role will sit within Group Digital and Mobility Services, which consists of twenty-five procurement professionals based in Stevenage, Rome and Paris.
The team is fantastic and utilises procurement best practice and operating as a true business partner throughout MBDA. What we're looking for from you:
Someone who understands software and software procurement, or is comfortable with learning and developing these skills.
Ideally, we would like someone willing to or working towards MCIPS qualification.
