Job Title – Lead Data Analyst

Salary – Up to £40,000, with a total package of £47,000 (company pension scheme, bonus)

Location – London, with flexible and hybrid working

Hours – Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What will you be doing?

Do you enjoy solving complex problems? Do you enjoy working with numbers and data? As a Lead Data Analyst, you will be a part of an innovative team who are trying to leverage the power of data to rapidly improve Veolia!

We are searching for a talented Lead Data Analyst to join a large data and analytics function within a leading Environmental company. As a business we are making more and more decisions based on data and you can play a big part in helping us to achieve our growth objectives.

Lead on business critical projects to analyse and provide key insight.
Support and mentor Data Analysts and apprentices in the team and department.
Create a suite of automated reports and dashboards.
Identify KPIs within the business and ensure that they are measurable with achievable targets.
Develop an understanding of the various end users of these reports.
Use advanced analytics practices to delve deeper into trends and patterns in the data.
Be able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical departments.

What are we looking for?

Degree level education in a relevant field (strong mathematical experience preferred).
Strong coding ability in either SQL or Python.
Experience in data visualisation tools similar to Power BI.
High problem solving ability.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
