Lead Front End Developer – Hybrid – Manchester or Remote – £50k-£60k

Digital client based in Manchester are looking for a Team Lead Front End Developer to work in a 60/40 hands on/off role on either a remote basis or Hybrid basis, 2-3 days per week in office, whichever is your preference.

As the Front End Team Lead, you will be managing and mentoring a team of 4 Front End Developers who will be working on the delivery of digital solutions, bringing the visions of the client briefs to life and working for across clients in a variety of industry sectors.

Your role will be 60% hands on development, taking a technical lead on projects and leading from the front, mentoring, guiding, and developing the team. Having a very technical focus and being passionate about exploring new technologies and approaches to ensure the team are at the top of their game.

The team are encouraged to attend conferences, networking events, and camps as the company heavily invest in their teams.

We need you to have:

5+ years commercial Front End Development experience
Having worked as a Lead or Senior developer, mentoring and supporting other team members
Solid Javascript skills including either React or Vanilla
Strong understanding of Web accessibility and performance
Experience working in an agency setting or a similar fast paced environment
