You meet someone new; they ask what you do, and you say, "I’m a Lead Software Engineer in finance."

Not the most exciting sentence ever.

Replace that with, "I’m a Lead Software Engineer, leading software projects that help countries and the biggest financial institutions fight against money laundering, terrorism, organised crime, corruption, human trafficking and weapons of mass destruction.”

Now we're talking!

More than £100 Billion a year is illegally laundered through the UK, between £700 billion and £1.7 trillion globally.

Accounts funding terrorism are growing at an unprecedented scale.

We know it’s happening, but it’s hard to take notice when we are powerless to do anything about it.

You can do something about it by using your background in .NET development and joining this 100-person company based in Andover that spearheads the fight against financial crime in the UK and globally.

The group provides solutions to financial institutions, banks and regulators, cryptocurrency exchanges and whole countries, dealing with people right at the top.

You’ll technically lead projects within a 30–40-person tech team, which has grown by 400% in just four years, so there’ll be many opportunities to progress your career as the company continues to grow.

You’ll have loads of interesting and complex problems to solve, working for a company committed to working with the latest technologies like .NET 6 and Azure services in a microservices architecture.

Twice a month, you’ll work from their idyllic mansion, set within its beautiful grounds and boasting a gym with classes, a pool table, games machines, large distraction-free offices and even an on-site chef.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

You’ll be a Lead Software Engineer that codes daily and has a background in modern C# / .NET backend development.

You will live within a 90-minute commute of their Thruxton office near Andover.

HOW TO APPLY:

Either apply here or search for Simon Monaghan on LinkedIn; contact details are at the top of my profile page.

Don't worry if your CV is not up to date. We’ll deal with that later if needed
