Job Description
We have a brand new job opportunity for an enthusiastic Lead Software Test Engineer to join an Oxford based successful and growing AI clinical solutions provider whose product is quite literally saving people’s lives! As the Lead Software Engineer you will get involved in the creation, enhancement and execution of automated software test plans and solutions and ensuring that prototypes/products meet product requirements. You will act as the automation expert and team leader on a stream of new exciting projects across the complete life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all aspects of design and implementation of automated tests for web based apps
* Define and execute software test plans and procedures from functional specs to test features
* Lead and build the software test team
* Participate in the review of project documentation, including risk analysis and regulatory submissions.
Experience & Qualifications for the Lead Software Engineer role:
* A degree level qualification (BEng, BSc, MSc, MEng) in Computing or Computer Science
* Extensive experience in automated testing for web applications
* Track record in software risk analysis, verification & validation in a regulated software environment
* Ability to demonstrate a self-motivated, highly organised and innovative approach to work
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Experience of the complete product development lifecycle preferably within a multidisciplinary team and in an environment using recognised development methodologies
* Experience of familiarity with cloud computing (Azure/AWS), CI/CD design and configuration and Agile software development experience will all be beneficial.
Location: Hybrid with occasional travel to Oxford office.
Salary: £50k – £60k + Bens
