Learning & Development Specialist / IT Trainer – MS Office suite  – Leeds or Bradford – West Yorkshire – salary to £40,000 DOE – WFH/Office options

Leading organisation requires a Learning & Development Specialist with IT Training capabilities who will be able to incorporate the need to provide a variety of soft-skills training solutions, compliance and specific systems and processes, to ultimately, to develop and deliver an effective learning and development strategy for my client

As a Learning & Development Specialist / Trainer you will be required to Deliver and/or facilitate internal training, learning and development solutions, review current training solutions in order to identify where improvements can be made, organise and facilitate induction sessions, ensuring my client obtains best value from its Learning Management System (LMS). You will devise training plans and materials for key training priorities eg. IT software roll-out etc, identify the most appropriate delivery methods for training to maintain awareness, propose and implement ways in which the longer-term role of learning and development can support the future development and growth and how this might maximise future commercial opportunities e.g. Management Development programmes or initiatives etc;

You will possess relevant experience in a commercial or corporate business, ideally within the professional services sector have proven successful experience of devising learning solutions and of developing and prioritising learning strategies that fit with the wider business needs, ideally, this will also include experience of company-specific systems and processes. You will have experience of instructor-led training, but also creating on-demand digital content, proven experience of designing training course materials and of delivering or facilitating training on a broad spectrum of topics, in particular Microsoft Office and other IT software and soft-skills and up-to-date knowledge of best practice and of general developments of techniques within learning and development and also proven experience of establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholders in order to ensure that the role of learning and development is promoted within the business
