Job Description

The Master Data Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to begin their career in data or receive a solid understanding on the importance of data in a business environment. Job specific training and support are in place from the very beginning. The desired candidate will have an interest in developing their skills in data management as well as enjoying understanding technical processes, problem solving and delivering critical solutions.
Day to day you will make a difference by…
· Data Analysis and Issue Identification – Looking at and understanding our data, highlighting issues and suggesting solutions
· Maintaining Data. Ensuring all data is set up correctly and processes are in place to safeguard its integrity
· Problem Solving – Identifying issues, why they are occurring and resolving them accordingly
· Integrating New Systems and Data – Ensuring any system or data integrations are handled efficiently and in a timely manner
· Creating New Accounts – Creating new accounts on the master system and then ensuring smooth integration of this new information with all other relevant systems
· Training and Supporting Users – Delivering regular training and supporting colleagues to help maintain data and reduce the opportunities for errors
· Cross Team Collaboration – Communicating clearly and efficiently across teams, including but not restricted to colleagues and international support teams
· Master Data Steward for the UK – Leading the Master Data programme for Atlas Copco Compressors in the UK with international colleagues

The person we are looking for….
· Has meticulous attention to detail
· Has a high level of analytical skills and enjoys working with data – which is key to succeeding in this role
· Has at least an intermediate levels of computing applications, essentially Microsoft Excel
· Has good communication skills; verbal and written
· Can understand and work with different processes and is able to identify possible process improvements for the future
· Is able to work well and effectively in a team
· Is a proactive thinker with a determination to succeed
· Has some data handling experience as well as CRM and SAP systems
· May be degree educated, however this is not essential
